A surprise awaits me after sleeping though a storm. A poem with alliteration.

While soundly sleepy
A storm was surging
Stirring seas violently.

At day’s break
From bed I bumbled
Bound for breakfast.

As the cat yowled
I yawned then yelled,
There’s a yacht in my yard!

Confused and confabulated
I crossed the lawn
To consider it closely.

Then stunned and speechless
I saw a sleepy sailor
Stumble from the stern!
