musings from the small hours of the morning - of life with all its sadness and joys.
How can it be in this place that is nurture,
this place that is solace,
this place that sustains?

Here is a journey through trouble and sadness
where memories and moments stay deep in our veins,
to burst and destroy us or heal and resolve us
where soothing the spirit is a gift beyond price.

Wanting and waiting and hiding and holding,
sinking not drowning,
give soothe to your friend.

Life is a gift to be taken or stolen,
damaged or nurtured, built up or felled.
Hearing and hoping, sink deep in the darkness,
give in to the silence, find rest in that place.

Comfort and solace in sadness and silence
can come from the tip of a pen.
