Lost Kingdom (The Shadow’s Play)

Into the silence,
The night moved towards the running light
My shadows play with their presence and make me fear
The other light comes closer, finds a way through this all
The king of the shadows told me once, told me even twice
But I seemed to get lost underneath his words
I think it were the rules of the amount of light and dark,
And it’s equally separated like I always do
The moments lost in the fractions of the reflections
Find their existence in my hollow heart and move me
Towards the spinal and final sense of my desire
He moves closer and finds me lying on this cold floor,
Telling me the warm embrace will once again to kill me
Doesn’t the amount of light will keep me save,
Doesn’t the sense of darkness will fear me again?
I’m lost underneath the perfect horizon, waiting,
Wishing the sunrise would come once again to see me

And the king of the shadows finds my light,
He sees it through and makes some scenes on the walls I created
And as I close my eyes and view the magic
From this shadow’s play and their scenes are melting with me
His kingdom is offered to my skin,
His kingdom is reflected on my hollow heart
Lost inside the silence

Into the light,
It makes me blind and runs into the hauntingly dark
Through the holes of my blinded heart I fell again
I wore this embrace until the perception of other eyes fell
But the king of the shadows tightens another embrace
Around my naked shoulders so I can dance in the light
The release of the hours entwined with the darkest seconds
Does it fear the coming storm, the endless breath waving along
The moments lost in the fractions of the reflections
Carve me out of their meaning to set me down again
Caught with the clouds moving faster,
It doesn’t let the sun through by breaking the reflections
He moves closer and finds me lying in this lonely field,
Kills the amount of dark to release the rules
Doesn’t the amount of light will keep me save,
Doesn’t the sense of his presence will fear me again?
I’m lost on the perfect road, waiting
Wishing the sunset would shine once again to end me

And the king of the shadows finds my light,
He places it amongst the solid cold, reflected in sight
And as I close my eyes and view the magic
From this shadow’s play until the lines are encrypted with the dark
His kingdom is offered to my skin,
His kingdom is reflected on my hollow heart
Lost inside the light

And the king of the shadows finds my light,
He places it amongst the equally embraced light and dark,
As the fractions of his lost kingdom complete me,
Lost inside the light
