"I AM" poem for, The Lighthouse Poetry Contests #1742964
I am blind and yet I see
I wonder how heaven will be
I hear tinnitus singing to me
I see in my spirit, God molding me
I want to be in heaven and so free
I am blind and yet I see

I pretend I have no pain
I feel jello coursing through my vain's
I touch the clouds when it rains
I worry about salvation when Jesus rains
I cry for mercy for His remnant and me
I am blind and yet I see

I understand scripture is true
I say Jesus is my savior too
I dream of heaven and meeting God
I try writing regularly no need to prod
I hope salvation for all around me
I am blind and yet I see
