loss of a sibling.
Endless Memory

Oh, how the mind does wonder,
As I ponder days now gone.
Christmas morn, a baby born.
Echoes of a profound time.

Snow flakes flew, winds that blew,
Summers and beaches many.
Songs in the park, after dark,
Our jaunts together, plenty.

Sharing and caring a lifetime
What touched one another’s heart.
Siblings grew, moments too few,
Untimely Ebb of the tide.

You departed, I had to stay,
Consumed by sadness and sorrow.
Yours was a future of love,
Mine,was one of no morrow.

Each day is now joy imparrd
Only a picture left behind.
A shadow of times past
A figment to placate my mind.

How my mind does wonder,
As I ponder years now gone.
I’ve  come to be, shadow of me,
Unable to rhyme a song.
