Christmas Colors

The red and black and white array
provides a Christmas-like display.
My coffee table sets the scene
for three things in a “bed” of green.

The centerpiece, a Christmas tree,
made by a friend so dear to me.
Just one foot high and white as snow,
it seems to be most apropos.

Then flanking tree two snowmen sit
(amazing how they seem to fit.)
They both wear scarves--one black one red;
the men don’t melt but bide instead.

Orange carrot noses point for sure
from countenances white and pure.
They both wear bowler hats hued black--
of Yuletide charm there is no lack.

Green garland is the crowning touch;
a wraparound them all as such
that it provides the “bed” all right:
one Christmas color scene delight.
