Summer doesn't have to be boring. Use your imagination.

The sunshine smiles
The rainbow giggles.
Mike and Ike dance a jig.

The gumdrops are
happily marching by
on past the proud, muddy pig.

Lakes of candy corn
and caramel sweets
bring bliss we can't contain.

But nothing compares
to the sweet, sweet taste
of Grandma's sugar cane.

Popsicles in the
sweet summertime
help us escape the heat.

But the greatest thing
is Mama's face
with that yummy Kool-Aid treat.

The pool is filled
with ice cold milk,
and there would be no surprise

to see a chocolate chip
cookie dive in
wearing a masked disguise.

Always have fun in the
sweet summertime.
Forever seek good cheer.

If candy and cookies
come alive, you've
let your creative mind steer.
