A new food delivery service in town.

I felt my taste buds dance a jig
as salivary glands agreed to
moisten tongue and uvula
too.  A service new in town,
Gingersnaps Delivery, food
par excellence they said by
way of radio, TV, and ads
mailed out, received

I would not wince from bitter
rinds the coming of new meals
on wheels, for oft the stale of
pizza delivery lingered as if
frayed dishcloths and dryer
lint.  Ergo like sweet of
potpourri on using this,
said Gingersnaps, as
life anew uplifts the
heart, and hearty
were the vittles
they bore.

And for a time I reveled much
with spoons of Caesar, pasta
and scampi, carrot cake, beef
tips, zucchini, Melba toast, a
litany of entrees and desserts
to please any gourmand.

The age we live is Internet;
and so too late I found them
out--this great new delivery
service kept adding cookies
to my domicile, digitized
Snaps, I later found out,
so now in tedium I toil,
removing snaps like
maple seeds, and I
am back to Pizza
Hut again.
