a little girl discovers "who is my neighbor"
Mother closed the Bible. They had read about the good Samaritan together.

“And who is MY neighbor?” Samantha asked, drinking her milk.

“The one who is wounded and needs your help.” Mother replied.

“Even Jennifer Steinke?”

“Yes Sam, even Jennifer Steinke.”

“But Mom, she smells and has raggedy clothes. Everyone calls her Jennifer Stinky!”

“She sounds wounded to me,” mother replied gently.

“Yes,” Sam whispered, tears forming. “Some of those wounds, are from me.”
