A love poem
In My Sleep ( Romance/Love: July 13, 2016 Issue [#7747]Writers / Writer / Creative Writing)

Serenity that surrounds,
inner peace abounds,
a voice that makes no sound,
in my sleep,
soft and still…

Never again to be alone,
bound as one, a silent moan,
quiet love once unknown,
in my sleep,
soft and still...

Heaven’s lunar eclipse,
heart beat silently skips,
lips barely touching lips,
in my sleep,
soft and still…

Song of angel and dove,
acoustics from above,
gazes lock in love,
In my sleep,
soft and still…

Fingers intertwine,
lips tasting of wine,
forever you are mine,
praying to never awaken,
soft and still…
