A satirical look ahead
“Congratulations! Mr./Ms. President. We’ve just won the 2044 election. We’ve won the White House!”

“You mean, I have just won the White House don’t you Janice? You’re just an advisor. Now, come on over here and give us a kiss.”

“Ummm…yes sir/ma’am. Hmmm. How will we refer to you now that you are the first transgendered person to become President?”

“Yes, Janice. Good question. I’ve been giving it a lot of thought. What do you think about the title: Royal Overlord Fancy Ladyship? We could use ROFL instead of POTUS. Yes, yes, it has a nice ring to it. Don’t you think?”

“So, you want me, and the other staffers to refer to you as ROFL? As in: Yes Mr. ROFL. Right away Mr. ROFL. Like that?”

“Well, when you put it like that, it sounds a bit silly. Are you trying to make me look silly Janice?”

“Oh! No sir/ma’am/ROFL. You certainly don’t need help with that. I am on your side, in your corner as it were. Where shall I kiss you?”

“Good to hear, Janice. Good to hear. Right on the top of my head like mother used to do. Ouch! Your lip piercings scratched my eyebrow!”

“Sorry sir/ma’am/ROFL. Just got a new one to celebrate winning the election. Not used to it yet.”

“No worries, Janice. I guess I’ll live. Am I bleeding? Why can’t you just get another tattoo like everyone else? I see an open patch of skin on your left knee.”

“Yes sir/ma’am/ROFL. I'll make a note.”

Good girl. Now lets’ keep working on this title thing. It’s going to be the most important part of my tenure as President, and my greatest legacy
