A 15-year old boy named Dave gets into a coma. He wakes up a few weeks later.
Chapter 1
I woke up for the second time. I never thought I would wake up. My vision was still blurry. I could make out that I was on a bed in a hospital. I felt weak.
Hours passed on with no one coming in the room. I wondered if my parents were worried about me. I wanted to get out of the hospital. I wanted to be back home. I guess it wasn't time yet.
I still had to recover for a least a week from what the doctor said when I first woke up. I felt a little lonely laying there in the bed alone. I was going to close my eyes but I heard footsteps coming towards my room. "If you're just going to sit there and cry then stay here." a nurse said strenly. A girl that looked my same age walked backwards into the room and the nurse slammed the door.
The girl slowly turned to me. She had tears streaming from her ice blue eyes. I grew nervous, not knowing what to say. I didn't want to say anything cliché like "are you alright?" or "what's wrong?" instead I said "What's your name?" she looked at me and replied "My n-name is N-Naomi." I told her my name.
The room was silent after that. Naomi stared at me. "C-can we be friends?" Naomi asked. I said yes and she seemed happier. I heard a nicer nurse call her name. "I-I got to go. Bye." she whispered. I didn't want her to leave.
Soon it was nighttime. A nurse came in with my dinner. I ate my dinner while thinking of Naomi. I never dreamed of meeting someone like her. She's shy...but I like that. She's really cute too.
I wanted to get out of this hospital sooner or later.
Chapter 2
The next morning I woke up again. The nurse gave me breakfast. The day dragged on. I slept for most of the time. I didn't want to be laying in this bed. I hated being stuck in this hospital.
A couple of hours passed. It was nighttime again and it wad rainong. "I need to talk with you in private." I agreed and we went into a closet. "I want to escape from this hospital." she explained. I was shocked. "W-what? That's...that's...its too risky." "I know its risky. But I don't want to stay here. Its not helping me. I heard of this school called Spring Garden Academy. I think we will be better off there." I was nervous about leaving but I just agreed anyway.
"Okay lets do it." We packed our things. We waited until everyone was asleep then left. We ran through the woods. We soon got to the school. I stopped to catch my breath. After that we entered the school. "Hey! Looked who showed up." a boy's voice called. Soon a group of guys showed up. "Wh-who are you?" I stammered. "My name is Roy and don't forget it. You are asking for trouble for running into me. But don't worry I won't punish you this time if it wasn't for that girl right next to you. You will get your punishment later, loser." He and the group of guys went away.
A shiver went down my spine. 'What is he going to do to me?' I thought. We went into our room. I dropped my stuff and immediately got into my bed. Naomi turned off the light.
"Can I sleep in your bed with you?" she asked. I nodded and she slipped into the bed. It felt awkward for me. She faced me. "So w-why where you at the hospital? I questioned. "I have depression that's why. But now since we are friends I barely feel it. I didn't know what to say. She closed her eyes and feel asleep. I feel asleep as well.
Chapter 3
We went to school the next day. It wasn't so bad. After school I toke a nap. Naomi went out to hang out with one of her new friends. I didn't make any new friends yet. I was excaused after school.
I don't really want to make any other friends. I worry about Naomi sometimes. I got out of bed after a few hours. I went outside then went to the top of the building. I sat down and started to think
