My first story aimed towards kids.
Quacker's the duck was a normal duck from birth. He quacked, he swam, he ate, and he drank. But as Quacker's grew so did the lump on his head. The other ducks would quack about about how ugly it was, and so Quackers soon started to believe he was an ugly duck. He started to become isolated from the other ducks, and eventually lost all of his friends. It wasn't long till a Swan came to see Quackers and his lump. The swan knew what it was like to think one was ugly, so it grew attached to Quackers. Whenever quacker's would notice the lump on his head the swan would correct Quackers with a smack on the head or a kind word. After some time Quacker's was beginning to believe that he wasn't ugly, that what was within was more important. He saw that he had to overcome a challenge, to become what he was, an ugly duck with a beautiful disposition.
