3 Limericks highlighting scenes from the life of a mother.
Mother’s Day Rhymes
(Limericks A Mother Will Love)

Kathleen McNamara

Works Every Time

There once was a mom with three boys
Sons who never cleaned up their toys
She warned, “Once more left on the floor,
they get tossed out the door!”
It was her most successful mothering ploy.

Pantry Raid

A mom had three teenage sons
Whose eating never seemed done
The pantry they’d attack
When looking for snacks
She learned to hide things if she wanted some

New Arrival

It was a long night of pacing the floor
The clock read 2:34
She was called to the room
And was over the moon
When her new grandson was wheeled through the door
