The earthly womb, Mary's, carried LORD Jesus. Did she qualify for such honor? I may guess
DARE TO BE A MARY
She did have questions; Mary did have concerns ...
“How shall this be, since I have not known a man?”
Where others tremble before angels
Mary asked, thinking of Joseph ... her impending covenant
Only such bold and pure hearts could welcome Jesus
Only such a heart as Mary’s could leap for joy
Sing the Magnificat, glory in Immanuel, “God with us,”
Only a heart like Mary’s could "rest" all the way to Calvary
O Lord, may I sing like Mary?
Dare I be a Mary, a Mary of trust and trustworthiness?
A Mary that Joseph could not divorce away
Because angels came beside her, celebrated her faith and innocence!
Thy WORD urges us to sing ... new songs and hymns,
Clap hands, and shout praises with a psalm!
Jesus enjoins us “Proclaim my Death” – until He returns
Yes, LORD, I hold up wafer and communion cup in obedience
Glory to God in the highest, Hosanna to our King!
The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, and of Mary ...
Has given us a New Covenant, has forgiven everything;
Because of the shed Blood of the Lamb - who dared to be Mary’s baby.
