Brook is just another unfortunate child Her story just comes to show healing can be found.
Broken. One word to describe all the heartache that has been inscribed into my being. A word to summarise my world. There are many other words: shattered or malfunctioning , but i love the word broken more. It evens rhymes with my name. I was rapwed by my father and abused by my brother, but even then I felt needed, but now sitting at my balcony ledge, I feel as if they only stopped using me as their toy because i was..........broken. Broken. The word that most of my care-takers use, "poor child, coming from a broken home" they whisper to each other and I fight back the urge to say that my home wqasn't broken I was........ and i still am. Brookyln; Broken see the similarity, my mother must have chosen this name because she knew I wouldend up 'broken'. Lets step into my life.
