Yet another love poem
How many years has it been?
It seems like yesterday and forever ago
Like a passing thought and life long memory
So much like a dream, but one that you know

You've held my hand through good and bad
Stood beside me through thick and thin
You've cried my tears and laughed with me
Agonized, rejoiced, and yet you're still my friend

So much more I wish I could give
Yet what I can, I hope you'll take
Though rough may be the way at first
I'll stand by you when everyone else breaks

Take this ring as a sign of my love
A reminder of all the memories past
Of Hope in all the hard times
A bond that will forever last

With this ring, though humble it may be
I give you the rest of my life
From massing moment to life long dream
Please say you'll be my wife
