A child runs away from home to escape his family.
Yes, I did it. I burned their crops. Fortunately, I guess for them, the fire didn't make it to the house.
“So why did you do it?” they asked me.
I didn't like it here. I felt like there was somewhere better for me. The fire helped me think.
I couldn't stay there. I couldn't stand my family, or anyone else. My real parents had died long ago. They were perfect. My new family was not.
That was when I came up with the idea. All I had to do was break into a heavily guarded facility and get the new Planet Hopper. According to the authorities, it was the fastest ship in the world. Then I would be free from all these weirdos. I could go wherever I wanted.
As I loaded myself into the shuttle, I didn't feel even a tinge of regret. I blasted off into the sky after programming the coordinates into the autopilot. They wouldn't find me there.
I heard a high pitched voice from outside the ship just after I crashed onto the unknown planet. The sound hurt my sensitive antennae.
I climbed out of the shuttle to see some inhabitants standing around the spaceship. I tried speaking to them, but it proved useless. We seemed to have vastly different languages.
Suddenly, several of them surrounded me, all of them with blue clothes and devices that looked like like the Numbing Rays found on my planet.
Now I remembered the legend passed down about a planet called Earth. With sudden regret I realized this was where I was, and I knew it was the worst place for a Glorb like me to be.
