A poem in quatrain rhyming form to a prompt to not use wife, ring, bride and dress
Bred To Wed

Beautiful blossoms spread in deep red
A red carpet precedes the couple to wed
A long cream train flowed from her veil
Closely tended so as not to impale

The groom recites his heart-felt vows
Lady partner her devotion endows
Groom places his token on her finger
She follows suite without any linger

All said and done, and connected for good
United, before the assembly they stood
