Welcome to the end of another year of the Blogging Bliss Newsletter. Five years to be exact, with six just a dozen issues away.
Just a short Feature this month to instill some pondering of where our blogging falls in the universal scheme. Of course, there's some of the past month's entries listed in case you missed them, but please don't miss those new bloggers who started and old ones who restarted.
If you need help with ideas for your blog, there's activities listed with prompts and challenges. Fun for all in the community. And most important, remember to change the calendar and use "2018" when you date anything!
Keep on Bloggin'!
Another Year Ends, Another Year Begins
by Wordsmitty ✍️
Time is measured in many ways. Events are set in time. History is created. Blogs are the twenty-first century catalog of thoughts, happenings, ideas, and life. Bloggers have become specialized historians documenting so much more than ever before.
As with birthdays and anniversaries, a celebration is in order as we cross this year's fence into the neighborhood yet to come. We may not know what it holds, but we know that we will record various tidbits. We will share these and what others write.
Look at the big picture that each blog frames. Daily or randomly generated snapshots become connections to the blogger adding a new line or color, thought or emotion., ever changing, continuously growing.
It's with a fond farewell we close the year; with anticipation we plunge into the next. It's not a holiday that makes this mood, it's words that come and phrases we form whatever the blog may be.
Here's the best to all and the blogging that has and will be done.
Blogs may be restricted to Upgraded Authors and higher. These entries may have a lower content rating than the overall blog.

Want to better organize the order of your entries? Maybe you have items about a holiday that were entered in several different years or have a recurring topic that you add thoughts to. Perhaps you have family entries and work entries and trip or friends entries.
You don't have to stay in the default order. Just go to the blog's "settings" - click the gear () icon. Then click on "Manage Book." It is similar to organizing your portfolio items by inserting numbers in the box next to the entry number at the left. Higher numbers are displayed first.
Of course, this could confuse your readers when new entries are added. It might be best for organizing an old blog that you've closed.
Are you editor material or would you just like to help with the Blogging Bliss? We're looking for editors and guest writers. As part of the staff, you get all the pleasure out of bringing to readers great blogs you've read, spectacular ideas you have about blogging, and magnificent news from blogging activities all the while improving your writing craft beyond just putting words on a page. And it's a lot of fun.
Please let me, Wordsmitty ✍️ or one of the other editors listed at the top know, and you too could see your byline distributed across WDC.
Do you have a question or a topic about blogging? We'd like to hear your feedback and comments on our newsletter. It's very important to us to know what you think. Plus you may get your blog featured in a future newsletter.
To read the blogs of WDC members, please go to: Official Blog Page . Also you can click on Bloggers in the WDC lefthand column.
If you have a blog entry that you'd like to promote, whether it's yours or someone else's please visit: "The Blog Board" (may also be accessed under the Community link in the WDC lefthand column).
LOOKING FOR GUEST WRITERS: If you think that you'd like to be a guest writer for our newsletter, please let us know because we're looking for YOU. Please contact: Wordsmitty ✍️ or any of the editors listed at the beginning.
WE HOPE YOU ENJOYED THIS MONTH'S ISSUE.

UNTIL THEN, HAPPY BLOGGING!
