The Seven Deadly Sins (Part One)
|Prompt: Write a seven-line poem about one of the 7 Sins that only contains seven words in each of the lines.
Luigi he loved having nothin' to do
But one day somebody abducted his shoe
The culprits demanded a buck sixty-two
Or bid his mephitic old sneaker adieu
But Lou had no money ... acquaintances, few
Ergo with no easy solution in view
Everyone's callin' him "Ol' One Shoe Lou"
(the sin is supposed to be sloth)
