The idea of something more than this earthly life has captured man's attention for eons.
Considering the Beyond
All that is mystical, magical, spiritual, and other-worldly is certainly worthy of our consideration. The concept that there is more than immediate physical reality can provide us hope. For example, hospice workers report those surviving near-death experiences will sometimes, in their apparent final moments, speak to people who have already died and envision things from outside our known world. Some observers ponder this as their patient being in both life and the afterlife at the same time.
To me this is fascinating food for thought. And, an even more profound exploration is venturing into the vast realm of religious or faith-based beliefs, another arresting and potentially life-altering topic altogether.
