| Lady with the issue with blood 20 lines
He went right by me, though the crowd around him was large.
Determination overtook me; as into the crowd I barged.
It was not my wish to talk to him, I am not worthy of that much.
I needed just to get close enough, close enough for just a touch.
I’ve never been a lucky one, in fact for years I’ve been a bloody mess.
If I could get just a slight, little touch, perhaps I too, could be blessed.
My faith in Him so compelling, it drove me close enough to reach.
I touched just the hem of the robe of the man who loved to teach.
In an instant, of my touch to his robe, He quickly turned around.
I lowered my head and eyed the ground, hoping not to be found.
I felt his eyes upon me, while my guilt, I’m sure everyone saw.
He said “Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole.”
From that one touch and that very hour my cure was everlasting.
Cured by the Son of God, yes I was cured just for silently asking!
Although I felt unworthy of being cured from a twelve year curse.
My healing made news, yes Matthew added my story into his verse.
Forever there entangled with the Glorious history of “the Word”.
Is the lesson of what faith can do when believing in our Lord.
I knew that if I could just get close enough for Him to hear my plea.
He heard me though no words were said, What a Wondrous Savior is He!
*****Matthew 9: 20-22 KJV
20 And, behold, a woman, which was diseased with an issue of blood twelve years, came behind him, and touched the hem of his garment:
21 For she said within herself, If I may but touch his garment, I shall be whole.
22 But Jesus turned him about, and when he saw her, he said, Daughter, be of good comfort; thy faith hath made thee whole. And the woman was made whole from that hour.
