A short fantasy story written a long time ago. Graphic |
Standing here under the blazing sun, I am forced to choose a side of this unforgiving war One killing the another with no mercy, Do they enjoy this or what? Gruesome sight of blood being spilt in the name of peace, Is there truly no other way? I did dream of trying my best, To make the world a better place, Never thought it would all come to this Am I being tested or punished, Trying to cure the world out of its own stains? I can see both sides killing each other with no humanity, Is this the right way? Have they forgotten, Every tribe of men are all brothers? It hurts my eyes, it pains my heart The sorrow is filling my soul, Don't they feel anything? The sound of swords clashing into swords, Thee screaming of men, They roar angrily wanting to kill more I am standing here on top of the mountain, Watching them from above with a heart full of guilt. I can hear some of them calling me, But why would I help who kills with no second thoughts? They call me 'The Masked Ninja', Have they forgotten what I have showed them all this time? I never killed to keep the world safe, Not even the bad ones I locked them up letting the justice to decide their fate, Is there a better way? I am a ninja, no executioner or a salve I go by the name 'Pain', It's they who gave me the nicknames 'The Masked Ninja' they called me 'The Son Of Juro' some called me I wear a mask they are unworthy to see my face I hide my real name, they are not worth knowing it I chose to save the world, though it was a hell for me I owe nothing to the world, the world owes me everything Yet I chose to save it, was a matter of kindness Standing here under the blazing sun, I am forced to choose a side from this unforgiving war One killing the another with no mercy, Do they enjoy this or what? Why do they have to go for war, When I taught them nothing but kindness Were they blind when I saved all those lives, Who once were stained by the devil's blood? How could they forget I saved lives, Despite holding the demon inside me? Did they forget within a few minutes, I, Pain, hold the demon inside me, Yet was still kind to them? Standing here under the blazing sun, I am forced to choose a side from this unforgiving war. One killing the another with no mercy, Do they enjoy this or what? Why do I have to be a part of it, When all I wanted was to save them? Don't they hear the screaming of men they kill, Don't they know every man they kill has a family? Do they know, with every man they kill, they kill a family? Have they forgotten, every man that dies, leaves a child behind? Have they chosen this to be the legacy leaving behind? With war comes pain and with pain comes hatred With hatred comes more war and it only brings more pain But knowing that pain will help you to be kind to others Was the quotation my mentor Juro once told me. Do they think violence will solve anything? How dare they go against everything I have taught them. How do I stop them? Standing here on top of the mountain, I thought. LET ME DO IT, LET ME SHOW THEM THE TRUE POWER OF A MONSTER! I WILL DO IT FOR YOU! And so the demon spoke to me. So they thought war is the key to peace, So shall they see the true side of war. Time to purify this godforsaken arena, with the true side of war. Standing here under the blazing sun, I have chosen a side from this war. I have decided to help them all, Jumping into the battle field with all my power.
