Lonely, hushed scene after a storm watched from a woodsy stoop from ultraviolet to dark.
the blue hour

bright hammers flash.
a gleaming maelstrom deconstructs
with blazing haste.
imbued neon
blue hints.
         ultraviolet leaves shudder.
         bayonets huddle, thick wet,
         darken beneath topiary silhouettes.

         glimpses,
instant utopia dim eyes witness
traveling miles away.
a black veil lowered
smears a foggy crown.

crickets remark
long beyond golden hours.
soaked fireflies pulse, streak
upon essence of all
escaping a sheer horizon --
there on a cement stoop,
there in a lonely wood
         hushed.
