A poem written in response to the tragedy at Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
I am no different than anyone else
I'm just the same as you
But some people may not like me
Because I am a Jew.

I can be loved and I can be hurt
Just like everyone else It's true
Some people may want to hurt me more
Because I am a Jew.

I have a heritage rich in tradition
With many things you never knew
Take some time and get to know me
Because I am a Jew.
