I hate you technology
I hate what you've done
We have powerful minds
but we think with our thumbs

We've built empires
and watched hundreds fall
A significance of beauty
Now we sit, and watch mindless beauty hauls

We accepted difference
we learned to love
now we simply 'add a filter'
and I've had enough

1 like = 1 prayer
1 comment = respect
Im sorry starving children
this idea i reject

It makes your friends feel ugly
and you? Insecure
I know for one
i preferred life before

So I am sorry, my children
For what we have done
We have ruined you chances
Of watching the setting sun

Your unlikley ever notice
the grass so green
Or the clouds so high and fluffy
But i can promise, you will notice the comments so mean.

You will hate yourself
But you wont be alone
Your friends, your sister, your cousin
All self love persponed

But your still log in
catch up with kylie and kim
How she is 'all natural', and 'doesnt love him'

But please, I beg, look in the mirror
Just for a moment, and take it in
This is you, the real you
Not a picture, paraded by sin

So i hate you technology
for destroying our minds
And i hope, for our sake
to themselves, our children are kind.
