I wish I could go back in time
I wandered through the treasure chest of memories that I stored,
Searching for the ones of me and you;
The good times that we had, the happy and the sad
The rich bouquet of moments that we grew.

We worried as we planned our lives together for so long,
Hoping that our love would see us through.
We had our ups and downs, times both of us got mad,
But we did it all together, just we two.

I wish I could go back in time and do it once again;
I must admit, if I’m willing to be true.
There are some things I'd change, some small regrets I had.
Aw, let’s face it; there’re more than just a few.

I wouldn’t be so stubborn and hardheaded any more.
I would be more patient and more lenient, too.
In fact I think I’ll change right now and then I will be glad.
Sure, this new me should last a day or two.

No, it never lasts for more than one or two.
