An angry poem I wrote about how not to damage me further
1. If she needs you for something, make sure you actually fucking care.
Don't give her a half-hearted answer that won't answer her questions.
She'd rather hear you say you don't give a fuck
And would rather support her cheating her snake of an ex-best friend
Or some other pretty face
Than hear you say, "Everybody has this problem."
That is a thoughtless answer
That someone with an IQ of fucking 2 could come up with.
Come back when you have a real answer
As well as a heart.
2. You have to support her dreams, too, you know.
Just because she's a strong, independent woman
Who's hardened herself through learning from the bullshit she had to go through
Because she can't rely on batting her eyelashes
And flaunting her flawless thighs
Just to get somewhere in life
Doesn't mean she won't need you for anything.
If she needs you for something-
Like, actually needs you
And is in desperation
Rather than being too lazy to do it herself
Like the other little princesses-
You should at least try to help to the best of your ability.
Don't play dumb
And don't half-ass anything.
She will know
And she will punish you for it.
3. Listen to her perspective, please!
She may not be the most reasonable of girls-
I mean, she will spare no one if she finds out
You're supporting some other thot's career-
But she has feelings, too,
And they're just as valid as any other girl's.
If you're not willing to listen to these feelings
And consider them whenever she needs you to,
Then don't talk to her at all;
She does not have time to fuck around.
4. Do what you very well know you're capable of doing for her.
She is a busy woman
Who gets shit done
And needs someone who can also get shit done.
She can't have some lazy-ass clown slowing her down.
She can tell when you're playing dumb
Or just being lazy.
If she catches you slacking off,
She will make you sorry for it.
5. Love her with your heart, not your eyes or dick.
She will know if you start losing interest in supporting her.
Given that she's not the prettiest flower in the field,
It's likely you'll kick her to the curb
For a girl with a pretty face
And a perfect body.
This has happened to her too many times,
Hence why she falls apart so many damn times.
Someone comes by and promises to fix her,
But then they get distracted by some beautiful broad
And leave her to shatter on the ground-
For the fifty thousandth time!
That same goon never comes back
And she ends up isolating herself,
Knowing that all people are like this.
Some have gained her trust,
Yet they never keep it for long.
Think about it deeply before you rush in.
Can you really handle someone like her?
