Now we are all victims!

Hurray for Victimhood and Climate Change!

After two years of pushing the Mueller Investigation, endless attacks on President Trump's legitimacy and ability to govern, and identity politics--the notion that large groups of Americans are victims of racism and sexism, and capitalism--the democrat party has now discovered the perfect solution to regain power: everybody must become a victim! Not just gays, transgenders, women, Native Americans, illegal immigrants, and racial minorities are victims of our evil society, no, now we ALL are victims of the destruction of our planet.

That's right, the total destruction of planet earth is right around the corner. Newly-elected Congresswoman Alexandra Ocasio-Cortez, the 29-year-old, avowed socialist, and exuberant voice of the Democrat party's New Green Deal, recently claimed, "The world is going to end in 12 years if we don't address climate change."

And "address" it, she does. Her Green New Deal demands that the United States' economy, infrastructure, and political system must be overthrown by the people (read the victims).
Like Karl Marx's Communist Manifesto or the Unabomber's Manifesto there is no room--no time-- no patience--for compromise. Either we restructure our entire country--starting with destroying the coal and oil industries by outlawing the burning of fossil fuels for homes, buildings, and automobiles--or the human species will go the way of the dinosaur.
Ms. Cortez has even stated that having children in this environment--with just a few seconds presumably left on the doomsday clock--is risky: "The lives of children are going to be very difficult and it does lead, I think young people, to have a legitimate question. Ya know, should - is it okay to have children?"

What are we Americans to make of all this? What about other, much more populated and polluting nations than our own? Will they be as foolish and eager as us to destroy what they have built over centuries? If we destroy our capitalist system and untold millions of jobs are wiped out, who will suffer the most? Won't it be the working and middle classes who can't just pack up and move to other, more sensible nations? Do you think elites and corporations will stick around and witness the U.S. mirroring a third world dump or hit the road for greener pastures or at least more favorable tax rates?

What can we do? For the moment, cut back on your carbon footprint, plant a few trees, turn off the air conditioning and open the windows when temperatures drop if you want to virtue-signal. More importantly, stop supporting--especially with your hard-earned money--these do-gooders who want to gain power, line their own pockets, and supposedly "save the planet."
Instead, look ahead! 2020 is coming! Throw these radical socialists out of office! Vote mainstream Republican majorities into both houses of Congress and, of course, vote for our pragmatic businessman, President Trump, who really is making America great again.
