Teaching my 4th Graders how to tell Time
All day long mister clock goes tick tock, tick tock,
If he could talk he would say, "children, run. Don't walk"
On his nose~mister clock, has two hands; big and small,
The big one tells the minute, the small~ which hour to call!
Round his face, with equal space~We find lines big and small,
The big lines are numbered 1~12, And there are 60 lines in all.
These 60 lines tell each minute~ for 60 minutes make an hour.
The hours 12 can be told~ by the lines like towers
So here's a secret about mister clock~ which I hope u find.
It's real easy to tell time~ if you keep your fives tables in mind.
