A recap of last night's San Diego/Toronto Game One.
The Toronto Blue Jays had a chance to take Game One of a three game series against the San Diego Padres last night.

The Jays rallied back from a 3-0 deficit in the bottom of the fifth inning with back to back home runs from Freddie Galvis and Lourdes Gurriel.

Galvis hit a two run homer and Gurriel hit a solo home run to tie the game 3-3.

Galvis went two for three at the plate and had two RBIs last night.

There was no scoring until the top of the eighth inning when Hunter Renfroe hit a three run homer.

Renfroe's home run won the game for the Padres.

The Padres won 6-3.

Renfroe went 1 for 3 at the plate and had three RBIs last night.

Both starting pitchers had a good night on the mound.

San Diego's starter, Joey Lucchesi, went 6.2 innings, giving up three hits, three earned runs, a walk, and struck out 11 batters.

Toronto's starter, Trent Thornton, went six innings, giving up four hits, three earned runs, three walks, and struck out 10 batters.
