Society is the hand controlling us (the puppets)
|Controlled by society.
Unable to be themselves.
Everybody is the same.
Do this and don’t do that.
You’d better be careful.
Don’t look back.
Don’t look back at who you used to be.
Because you’ll never be that person again.
You’ll never feel good about yourself again.
Dress like this. Don’t dress like that.
Because one wardrobe malfunction and everyone will laugh. Look like this, don’t look like that.
Eat too much and you’ll be fat.
Strings attached, no choices made.
Because society is like an animal chasing its prey.
One wrong move, and they’ll see you.
You better move fast.
If you don’t they’ll eat you.
You’ll be consumed by them.
You’ll feel bad about being yourself.
You have a perfect body, perfect skin, and are at least 10 pounds underweight?
You just aren’t the same as other people and have imperfections that make you perfect?
Is this really what we’re being taught by the monster we like to call society?
In order to be accepted, you must be perfect.
You have to have at least 1000 followers on social media. You have to be pretty.
You have to look like a model.
We’re all like puppets, controlled by society.
No need to be happy.
As long as everyone likes you, everything is fine.
No need to worry about dying from starving yourself.
As long as you have a nice body, everything will be fine.
No need to be yourself.
Nobody likes people who are different anyways.
So as long as you are the same as everyone else, everything is fine.
Wishing to be perfect.
Slowly dying to be.
Because we’re all just puppets controlled by society.
