Visualizing what you want.
|We all need specific goals. Just thinking about what you generally want your life to be like someday is not enough. My goals are in my mind every moment of every day and keep me moving forward and striving for more. Here’s how I accomplish this.
I have planned a few things for the long term. I want to own my own home instead of renting. It will eliminate a lot of stress from my life. My boyfriend and I want to spend more time in the outdoors. We are planning to buy a boat and a cabin and do a lot more things like fishing and enjoying nature. That is the perfect way for us to enjoy our time.
To keep these goals uppermost in our minds we have chosen the kind of home we would like, and I have found a picture of the type of home we want and downloaded it onto my computer so that I can see it every day.
I am planning to expand my business and serve more clients with different programs. To keep these things firmly in my mind I have developed the outlines for each of these programs on my computer. I can just click into the files which have these outlines, and I look at these every day to keep myself working towards these goals.
I have a certain monthly amount that I need to earn to make my life the way I want it to be. I have worked out this amount and keep these figures in my files to remind me every day.
For me keeping my goals in front of me is a visual exercise. I never forget what I am working towards. That keeps me going and working towards the life I want for myself and my family.
Do whatever you need to do to keep your goals always in your mind. This is the why behind your business.
Never forget your why. It will keep you going.
