A short story for a 300 words or less flash fiction contest.

One day a leopard met a bug and a gecko. The leopards name was Leo. The bug's name was Kyle and the gecko's name was Len.

All of them had a problem. The bug couldn't find anything to eat, nor could the leopard or gecko. So, all of them decided that they needed to work together to try to solve this problem.

"Kyle and Len, I'm sorry...but I'm just a bug. I don't think I can find a way to help both of you find any food. I've looked around and haven't seen anything. Besides, I'm a bug and gecko's eat us and leopards don't," said Kyle worried that Len might eat him.

"That's ok Kyle, I don't eat lady bugs. I know that you taste bad anyway," said Len.

"All I can do is hunt for meat. I don't think I can be of any help to either one of you either. I'm sorry you two," said Leo sadly.

All of the sudden, the three of them look up right by them. They see a tabacoumba! The gecko and bug can't break the skin of it, so Leo does for them. Now they all got to have something to eat and Leo saved the day!
