For the prompt of the day
A wise man once said
"Be yourself. Everyone else is taken".
So here I am,
watching my estranged body,
wondering who I am.

I'm detached, disconnected,
can I trust myself?
I'm cold and alone,
can I feel my touch?

It's so unclear, so confusing,
I can see my restless body
from up here.
I can hear my mad thoughts
from up here.

So wise man, tell me
how can I be myself,
when I've given up on my mind,
when I'm far away from my body,
when I've lost control of my life?

So wise man, tell me
am I really different from others?
Am I another lonely human living a life?
Am I just another copy?
