In a world where looks are everything; the beauty within means little.
She stays at home
most days alone
nobody calls
no one phones
her face has
turned their hearts
to stone

She'd love so hard
if she was able
if some young prince
would take a chance
she drinks her drink
tries to sink there at the table
the guys all asked
her friends to dance

My poor Medusa
it's such an ugly world
My poor Medusa
it is when you're not a pretty girl
