The targets are not the only victims of war.
From myopic scope
The bullet fled
The sniper bows
His heavy head
To mourn the child
He just shot dead
Now tell me war's not evil

From beneath the ground
of an enemies mound
tunnels were dug with little sound
explosives set
for one fateful day
when a button pushed
blew thousands away
Now tell me war's not evil

From away up high
miles in the sky
fell two bombs
and Japanese died
nothing but stains
that won't fade with rain
Now tell me war's not evil
