The words of a poet cannot describe in enough detail the wonder of creation.
Dance with the sunlight
Diamonds on water
Flaring and flashing
In evening's last glow

Magenta on white clouds
Highlights their edges
Monarchs of the skyways
Golden their crowns

Scarlet the low sun
On mountainous horizon
Crimsoned snow peaks
Bleeding to pink

Eyes lose their focus
In the glare of the Heavens
Light's pure creation
A tribute to life

Sunset to twilight
Twilight to night
Night to sunrise
The turn of a day

Words cannot capture
This passage of time
Poet stands in rapture
His pen remains blind

G. Gabriel (24 lines)
