He may not be what he seems to be.
you meet a snowman on the road
you look him over twice
he wants you to give him a ride
he may not be so nice

you eye him up and down all right
before you take him in
beware the carrot for a nose
beware his icy grin

you battle frigid winds that blow
and mounds of snow that drift
the frostiness will grow inside
if you give him a lift

you navigate a wintry lane
you drive your car with care
then when you hit the next red light
you see the snowman there

his blue scarf quaint his black eyes glow
your heart becomes your guide
you see the man of snow close by
just begging for a ride

endearing does the snowman seem
be ready his device
the warmness of the sun may shine
yet He’s as cold as ice
