The local Hooters closed its door
The local Hooters closed its door
We won’t see cuties anymore
Those sassy girls are unemployed
My friends and I are so annoyed

It was our normal stomping ground
The best around that we had found
The beer was good, the meals okay
The girls looked great, what can I say?

But now we’re left out in the cold
They’re gone for good, so we were told
Without the Hooters girls to see
We’re in a lifeboat lost at sea

We’ll have to find some other bar
I hope it isn’t very far
Where we can drink and have some fun
We’re never hurting anyone

But we will miss our Hooters nights
And surely miss those eye delights
But maybe it is for the best
To give my tired eyes a rest

Just hanging out now with the guys
Keeping up my friendship ties
There are no cuties anymore
I’ll be a better man, for sure

But maybe there will come a day
With Hooters back, this time to stay
And we can hang out with the guys
And fill our bellies and our eyes
