Remnants of a narcissist's target
Lullaby

It was so peaceful when I was numb
When your silence relaxed the ropes
And I drifted into darkness
And the stars were all far gone
You like in the shadows
Breathing polluted air
The poison merges with your soul
And reflects the masks you wear
I wonder where your flowers grow?
Or if you feel the cold?
Would you walk a million miles?
To find the ‘One’ to hold?
It’s hot here in the desert
You left me here to die
I wonder where you keep those books
To sing, sweet lullaby’s
