For the Bah Humbug! Contest Dec. 2019
Who's the big man with the blue knit hat?
Muffler of wool and a tummy that's fat?
King for a day, and he loves the road
With a shovel cane and a heart of gold

That's Frosty the Plowman
He's a jolly happy soul
With a smelly pipe and a bulbous nose
And two eyes as black as coal

Frosty the Plowman
Is a loud mouth drunk they say
He eats lots of crow
But the people know
How he came to save the day

There must have been some whiskey
In that old tin flask they found
For when they placed it in his hand
He began to dance around

Frosty the Plowman
Was drunk as he could be
But the people say
He could work and play
Just the same as you and me

Frosty the Plowman
Knew the snow was deep that day
So he said let's run
And we'll have some fun
Now before I drive away

So down to the village
With a shovel in his hand
Driving here and there
All around the square
Saying catch me if you can

He led them down the streets of town
Right to the traffic cop
And he only paused a moment when
He heard him holler stop

For Frosty the Plowman
Had to hurry on his way
So he waved goodbye
Saying with a sigh
I'll be back again some day

Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Look at Frosty go
Thumpety thump thump
Thumpety thump thump
Over the hills of snow
