Kyle Connor put Winnipeg back in the game with a power play goal at 3:45 of the second period.

Patrik Laine tied the game at 7:44.

Travis Dermott put the Leafs ahead again at 9:02.

Pierre Engvall made it a 4-2 game 35 seconds later.

Mark Scheitele closed the gap at 4-3 at 12:48.

Mitch Marner put the Leafs up by two goals again on the power play at 16:52.

Nylander scored his second goal of the game at 8:45 of the third period.

Nylander had a three point night.

Leaf's Alex Kerfoot had two assists.

Toronto's goalie, Frederik Andersen, stopped 45 shots last night.

Toronto hosts the New York Islanders tomorrow night.
