A brief poem on the virtues of the mint plant.
|I Admit the Yam is Stretching It
A dripping garden tap
waters the ground below,
feeds the green leaves of mint,
nurtures the plant that hints
of sauce for roasted lamb,
potatoes, beans and yam.
Sestet of six syllable lines.
Line 3 rhymes with line 4, line 5 with line 6.
