a poem about what happens when you lose trust from someone else
( Quick Sand )

I know that she loves me, but I`m slowly sinking
The longer that she knows me, the more that she is thinking
The real me is coming out, no longer can I hide
I`m stuck in this selfish game, I`m losing all my pride

She can see right through me, my flaws are within reach
I`m holding on with thin rope, entangled by a leech
She doesnt trust my judgement, the blame is on my head
The closeness that we once had, is now close to dead

I`m slipping farther from her, I can barely hear her voice
Our hands were always touching, now broken from my choice
I didnt listen to her heart, I chose to try out lust
From that one decision, I completely lost her trust

She tried to warn me many times, a fool I didnt listen
Her tender thoughts and warm heart, soon I`ll be missing
She whispered that she loved me, but I didnt understand
Now I`m all alone right now, burried by the quicksand
