I hope you all are well and God Bless.
Between the Trees

At sunlight's setting
Lie the shadows
Of what I have seen
So many times before.

Between the trees,
My world stands before me.
In line for me to see,
Sometimes want to miss.

I have questioned
What is supposed to be
In the sky.

How much do I misread,
Still and why?

My coals are cooling.
Does the fool within me
Send a message
From a place I can't see?

I don't know.

But old shame,
It sticks to me.
And will not wash away.

Hope seems to say,
You are just another fool today.

But tomorrow,
Will I be the fool again?
Looking for a spark within a light.

Looking for
What is right?
