         Sometimes a campfire can document something amazing and even memorable if it is kept up faithfully every day as this one was. It can provide a glimpse back in a year in the life when things have changed so dramatically as they did in 2020. And it can give someone something to remember and hold on to when there is a loss in that year.

         In this remarkable and engaging entry for The Writer's Cramp I was transported back in time to the 1930s. One of the best memoirs of that era that I've read anywhere.
