The forum encourages members to do something that brightens many a day during a WdCer's account anniversary month. Great idea, great execution, and great staying power! Doing something consistently for a period of time isn't easy and it's a nice activity within the community. Spreads the warmth around WDC. "Early to Bed, Early to Rise Challenge" ![]() ![]() Phyllis is the leader and she does a remarkable job of encouraging and cheering on the group members and loves to reward them for participation. It makes a wonderful difference for the members. "JAFBG" ![]() ![]() So, here's a blog forum unlike your typical blog forum. It's a bit edgy, so be warned, but it has its place. Separate storylines may branch with a single author, but the overall stories work together. There's in-depth background behind it all to hold it together like any novel or group of shorts. "Lifestyle, Anything Goes Campfire 2020" ![]() ![]() Sometimes a campfire can document something amazing and even memorable if it is kept up faithfully every day as this one was. It can provide a glimpse back in a year in the life when things have changed so dramatically as they did in 2020. And it can give someone something to remember and hold on to when there is a loss in that year. "You gotta see this!" ![]() ![]() Such a great idea for an In & Out! Why didn't I see this before? Best Single-Person Activity "A Word Search About Our Veterans..." ![]() ![]() It's fun and interesting. "Soul to Soul" ![]() ![]() Everyone needs a little help every now and then but most don't like to admit it. This solves the problem and spreads hope. "Rach's Chocolate Emporium " ![]() ![]() There's something for everyone here! I love the variety! And the owner generously contributed heavily to the prizes. I liked that there were varying levels of tickets and they all had a cohesive theme. I liked the design of the page too. Super job! It's difficult, and sometimes embarrassing, to ask for help, but this eliminated any worries I had. I think the "Cards of Love" group is worth a nomination because we are able to greet others in the mail with greeting cards while they are down with some uplifting greetings to cheer them up. "The Word Warriors" ![]() ![]() A prayer group is always needed and even though this is a small one it has been very responsive and helpful. I can't even begin to tell you how much this means to me. "Take up Your Cross" ![]() ![]() We are studying God's word and learning what others think too. There are no judgments. "Space Blog" ![]() ![]() Chris has worked hard to start this group. He wants others to blog and branch out in their blogging experiences. He is a good, active member and wanted to do this group to give back to others. "WdC SuperPower Reviewers Group" ![]() ![]() "TLC Support Group" ![]() ![]() It is a wonderful, caring group designed to help people reach their health goals. Patrece, the leader, is supportive, kind, and devoted to the group. There's a nice diversity among the members and she has fun challenges to encourage and motivate us. "The Snail Mail Group" ![]() ![]() Because we all need to feel connected to others and this is a great way to do just that! "The Book Club" ![]() ![]() As writers, we need to read more and this group helps encourage us to do so. "The Writer's Cramp Judges Group" ![]() ![]() This group has been dedicated to judging The Writers Cramp for more than 19 years. Group members come and go, but the dedication to writing stays the same. This item made me stop and think about someone close to me. It opened my eyes. "Old Times in Rural Alabama" ![]() ![]() In this remarkable and engaging entry for The Writer's Cramp I was transported back in time to the 1930s. One of the best memoirs of that era that I've read anywhere. "A Childhood Memory" ![]() ![]() Found it interesting and well written. "Sir Thomas Malthus" ![]() ![]() It's an interesting article that was both educational and alarming. "Orange's story" ![]() ![]() "Blue Easter Eggs" ![]() ![]() The prompt was "blue" and he used blue so many times in so many hidden ways, it was a lot of fun to try to find all the subtle references. "A HOLIDAY TO REMEMBER" ![]() ![]() Such an intriguing story--I literally read the genres chosen to see if it was non-fiction because it seemed so real to me. "Solstice Day" ![]() ![]() Such a genius idea! The story is great as well, but I really love how it so clearly explains the idea of a new calendar and time-keeping system. It won me over! "The Three Jacks" ![]() ![]() This is a truly enjoyable children's story any child would love. Great plot, entertaining, and polished!
