A recap of last night's Toronto/Ottawa game.
Jack Campbell, (Soupy) is what the Toronto Maple Leafs needed in a backup goaltender.

Soupy stopped 25 shots in a 4-2 win over the Ottawa Senators last night in Kanata, Ontario.

Auston Matthews opened the scoring at 4:11 of the first period.

The Leafs went ahead 3-0 in the second period with goals by Jake Muzzin and William Nylander.

Connor Brown put Ottawa on the scoreboard at 16:13 of the second period.

Cody Golrobef closed the gap at 3-2 at 9:44 of the third period.

Thankfully, Mitch Marner sealed the deal for the Leafs with an empty netter at 18:46.

Matthews had two points last night.

Toronto is in Buffalo tonight to take on the Sabres.
