Orcs ransack a neighborhood in Los Angeles. They discover a new obsession.
No one can defeat the horde!
during times like this, violence is our Lord!
Flaming eye to flaming eye, our brown tusks muted in the darkening dusk.

quiet now, the humans go to sleep.
Crash the doors as they slumber,
their houses, ours to keep.

look at them stumble and run.
bash and smash, the humans flee.
then leaps a four legged beast.

The orcs in the house saw it fly through the air.
it's fangs flashing with claws bared.
it met a glorious war death feeling no despair.

Later, at the victory fire, the orcs told their tales,
and it was the beast 'Savage Fangs' that captivated.
What was this brave thing?

This being, far braver than the humans who begged for their lives.
The orcs described the creature to a captured human.
The human bartered with them, his freedom for the knowledge.

The orcs agreed.
They learned that 'Savage Fangs' was a thing called a 'cat'.
This was the beginning of a sort of fascination.

The orcs let the human go.
Then settled in the neighborhood that was once known as South Los Angeles.
Thus began one of the first major conflicts after the phenomena known as the Blending.
